E&I PROJECT SPECIALIST
We are currently looking for an E&I Project Specialist to join our team at Lake Utopia Paper based in St. George, New Brunswick.
This opportunity would be ideal for candidates looking to broaden their experience in project management and execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting both smaller and larger scale project work at Lake Utopia Paper. As the Electrical & Instrumentation Project Specialist, you will be responsible for interfacing with mill personnel and third party contractors, commissioning new systems, and act as the liaison between internal project groups and external support.

We operate four Pulp and Paper Mills out of Saint John and St. George, New Brunswick that produce a combined 1 Million Tonnes of Product and employ over 1000 employees.
You Have:
  • Education Required: Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, 2 years' post- secondary in the electrical/ instrumentation discipline (ICT, EET), or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project work in heavy industry (process/manufacturing) or construction
  • Project Management Professional, or work towards such a designation would be considered an asset
  • Experience in electrical distribution, AC drives, PLC, DCS and general instrumentation considered an asset
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
