Our business is growing and we need to grow our workforce, so we are looking for the right person to help us do that! We are currently looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist focused on the end-to-end recruitment activities for JD Irving's Information Technology division. In this exciting opportunity, you will get to leverage your past work experience to enhance the recruitment for JDI IT . You will work day-to-day on posting positions, managing candidates, and offering jobs to those successful candidates based on our workforce plans and recruitment strategies.
Your Focus:
  • End-to-end recruitment within the information technology field
  • Development of workforce plans, recruitment strategies and programs that provide for effective recruitment.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment marketing plans to source qualified applicants using referral programs, social media platforms, targeted recruitment ads, and maintain candidate pipelines.
  • Effectively use the company's online applicant tracking system to create job postings, track candidate flow for each required requisition.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to support the recruitment lifecycle including posting requisitions, screening candidates, conducting pre-employment assessments, completing reference checks, and completing background checks.
  • Evaluate applicants using a variety of screening and assessment techniques to identify qualified applicants, maintaining standards set by the Company.
  • Coordinate and attend job fairs, community events, educational institutions, and other recruitment events.
  • Compile recruitment data, identify emerging recruitment trends, and prepare reports as required.

You Have:
  • A passion for recruiting top talent
  • Experience with end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, negotiations, and job offering
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (business, administration, human resources, or marketing preferred)
  • Experience in sourcing best-in-class talent using various recruitment channels including social media, resume mining, networking, innovative recruitment techniques
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • A track record for bringing forward new and creative solutions to recruiting opportunities
  • A keen eye for detail and demonstrating a high sense of urgency in delivering high quality customer service
