Job Title: Finance and Benefits Assistant
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Processing of employee changes in our scheduling software and meeting with employees
- Organizing incoming invoices and scanning into electronic payable system
- Enter data and maintain updated records
- Meet with new Resident and/or family
- Communicate with vendors, customers, families and colleagues
Education Required:
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a business program of 1 year to 2 years (or 5 years equivalent experience)
Experience and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of accounting and scheduling software
- Familiarity with financial regulations, i.e. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, Excel, and Access
- Organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Reliability and strong work ethics
- Ability to solve problems and keen attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy in all aspects of the organization
- Must take initiative and able to work with minimum supervision
- Respectful and hardworking team player
- Police check and Vulnerable Sector Screening Request in the last 3 months is required

Salary Range: $19/hour for probation period, then $21/hour
