Procurement Analyst - Fleet
We are currently seeking candidates for the role of Procurement Analyst - Fleet at our head office location in Saint John, New Brunswick.
The Procurement Analyst - Fleet is responsible for improving costs and driving process standardization within the fleet and mobile equipment categories at J.D. Irving, Limited. This role is responsible for executing and improving corporate policies, reducing costs, and improving the supply chain related to mobile assets.
The ideal candidate has the following education & experience:
  • Experience in the automotive, fleet, or mobile equipment industry
  • Strong negotiation and analytical experience
  • Post secondary education completion
  • Sound judgement, accuracy, confidentiality, and promptness
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and evaluate areas of opportunity to lower the total cost of fleet and mobile equipment
  • Negotiate contracts and procure goods and services related to fleet and mobile equipment
  • Analyze fuel spend, telematics & maintenance data to enable sound business decisions
  • Work with operational teams to ensure sourcing and delivery of services, parts, and supplies is performed in an efficient, safe, and timely manner
  • Negotiate various non-fleet related purchases as they arise
