SENIOR ESTIMATOR / PROJECT MANAGER
CFM is an integrated provider of support to the world's most demanding industries. We manufacture, service, and install our customers highly specialized systems. We have multiple facilities spanning across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia that serve not only Atlantic Canada but serve customers across the globe.
We are currently accepting resumes for a Senior Estimator/Project Manager, located in Saint John, NB.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform all duties of associated mechanical and structural estimating, including estimating of labor & material components for projects
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements in order to develop full scale project plans
  • Lead the planning and implantations of projects
  • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • Liaise with various customers regarding customers regarding projects and quotations
  • Provide direction & support to manufacturing group on projects
  • Mentor & coach other estimating and drawing office employees

Qualifications:
  • Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering Technologist or Engineering
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience
  • CET certification or P Eng designation is considered an asset
  • PMP designation is considered an asset
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and design capabilities required
  • Knowledge of Steel Manufacturing is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to achieve high performance levels in a complex fast-moving environment
  • Ability to work independently or within a team
  • Ability to set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities, and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.
  • Ability to manage through teamwork and influence, as well as gain commitment.
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written.
