Visibility Customer Transition Lead

Midland is currently seeking an "Visibility Customer Transition Lead" reporting to Vice President Transformation. The Visibility Customer Transition Lead will be responsible for onboarding Midland's customers to the newly implemented technology solutions. The onboarding schedule will be built according to the on the Release Schedule and value-add of the customer. The Transition Team Lead will be a liaison between the Customers, Project Team, and Midland Sales. In addition, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude, a service-oriented mindset and will thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of sales/leading sales strategy execution, preferably in the supply chain or transportation industry
  • Organized, confident and a motivation to find solutions for customers
  • Holding others accountable in a positive constructive manner
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborate across departments including Sales, Operations, IT, Pricing and Rates
  • Agile Project Methodology knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and quick to learn new digital tools
  • Superior communication and able to verbalize in a succinct way
  • Comfortable negotiating both internally and externally to achieve the project's objectives

Key responsibilities:
  • Create customer onboarding strategy based on the project plan (identifying customers to transition, building out key onboarding activities for customers)
  • Align the transition timeline to the project timeline to ensure delivery of project capabilities
  • Develop & Maintain onboarding materials and processes
  • Facilitate learning sessions with the Midland Sales team to communicate project timeline and benefits of transitioning to the new system
  • Adhere to the project timeline to ensure we are realizing organizational benefits through customer transition
