Our client is seeking an Office Administrator for a permanent opportunity in their Halifax office. Supporting this team of Doctors, you are professional with a high level of compassion and understanding. Previous experience with Sage 50/Simply Accounting is required in this role.


  • Answering office phone and checking voicemail regularly
  • Greeting clients ensuring they feel comfortable
  • Creating and maintaining an organized filing system
  • Ordering office supplies, resources, research books, as needed
  • Coordinating and scheduling all meetings and updating as necessary
  • Booking all client appointments by phone and e-mail
  • Typing and formatting client forms
  • Emailing marketing materials to clients
  • Maintaining company website
  • Maintaining database of current files, cancellation lists, waiting lists, new intakes, and archived files
  • Other administrative tasks as required


  • Post-secondary education in business, office administration, or related studies
  • 1-2+ years' experience working in a professional environment
  • MUST have SAGE 50/Simply Accounting, Google Suite, and JANE software expertise
  • Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
