We represent several of Canada's leading insurers and currently have a career opportunity for a Commercial Account Executive - Sales Representative in the Province of New Brunswick.

We are a high energy, supportive group with a dedication to building strong, long lasting relationships with our clients and we are seeking a highly motivated candidate to join our Commercial Lines sales team. The ideal candidate would value integrity and be highly focused on customers. Candidate should be able to produce solid references who can attest to their skills and qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Dealing directly with a prospect, you will gather risk information and conduct appropriate research including claims and other pertinent underwriting information
  • Resource for referral based sales and new growth opportunities
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals to the client
  • Secure payment arrangements in accordance with Huestis Insurance Group guidelines
  • Ensure receipt and delivery of an accurate insurance policy before transferring the policy to the servicing department
  • Servicing of accounts within the organization as assigned
  • Other special assignments and projects, as required

Qualifications

  • 2+ years Commercial Lines experience would be an asset
  • Insurance knowledge in the placement of all Commercial Lines classes of Insurance would be an asset
  • License, active and in good standing would be an asset
  • Class 3 or greater but would consider individual working toward designation
  • Commitment to continuing education, team meetings and training
  • A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication and negotiation skills ("people person")
  • An unwavering commitment to delivering professionalism and expertise to our clients
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Positive and energetic
  • Goal oriented and driven by results
  • Ability to use creativity in structuring product proposals and meeting deadlines
  • Computer knowledge in MS Office products such as Word and Excel and familiarity with EPIC and Policy Works would be an asset
  • Car and valid driver's license
  • Bilingualism would be an asset
