Job Summary
The Warehouse / Rental Coordinator is responsible for tracking warehouse inventory and ensuring products are accurately received and recorded. This position will be responsible for the distribution, tracking, rental-out and return of tool inventory. The Warehouse / Rental Coordinator must be well organized and have solid time management skills to ensure that inventory records are up-to-date, and that employees follow all safety guidelines and procedures throughout the warehouse. The ideal candidate for this position is interested in our business, processes, and understands the importance of service excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare necessary documentation for the import and export of rental equipment and tools
  • Inventory control of materials, tools and equipment
  • Physically receive orders and communicate to the project personnel
  • Receive against the purchase order within the Company's financial computer program
  • Communicate shipping and receiving with project personnel
  • Assist with tracking and maintaining company vehicles including scheduling repairs and regular vehicle maintenance
  • Develop and implement ideas for continuous improvement
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Warehouse
  • Additional duties assigned

Technical Requirements
  • Minimum of high school education is required
  • Previous experience in a rental/retail environment would be an asset
  • Candidates with previous experience in receiving and distribution of materials in the Construction Industry will be given preference
  • Knowledge of power tools / minor equipment including proper handling
  • Experience/familiarity with warehouse operations would be considered an asset

  • Effective communication skills (both oral and written) with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Strong customer service skills both internally and externally
