Roadside Service Technician
The successful candidate must have strong customer interaction skills along with other motor/mechanical skills and an impeccable driving abstract. The candidate must also be able to work independently in an organized productive manner going to & from service calls. The job could consist of working daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays.
The job will entail helping customers in roadside assistance such as:
- battery boosting
- door unlocking
- flat tire repair, balance and change
- vehicle maintenance - lubrication, fluid top-up and/or replacement (oil, radiator, windshield washer, brake, transmission), replace filters
- fuel delivery
- drive service truck to customer location to provide services
The candidate will also be asked to assist the lead mechanic and perform other duties as directed.
Maintaining the service vehicles will be part of the employee's responsibilities such as:
- oil changes, grease jobs
- fluid top-ups
- minor repairs and vehicle appearance
