As an Accounts Receivable Clerk your responsibilities will include:
• Accurately enter and code invoice payments into the financial systems, reconciling payment to appropriate invoice in a timely and efficient manner
• Correspond in a professionally and courteously to clients and internal stakeholders via telephone or email regarding payment inquiries and to process credit card payments
• Prepare direct deposits, credit card / POS payments, online banking and electronic fund transfers
• Sort and prepare cheques for deposit
• Assist with the depositing of funds in the appropriate bank account
• Update client and payment information in internal databases and applications
• Monitor team shared mailboxes and respond to queries in a timely manner
• Preparation of client statements
• Other duties as assigned and required

Think you've got what it takes to be an Accounts Receivable Clerk? Like the colour purple? Great. Here's a few more boxes we're also hoping you can tick:
• High school diploma at minimum with a university degree and/or college diploma in business considered an asset
• A friendly, positive, and professional attitude dealing with clients and staff, including excellent customer service skills
• Motivated self-starter displaying a willingness to learn and an ability to work both independently as part of a collaborative team
• Strong, clear and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
• Possess intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel in particular)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high transaction environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to resolve issues in timely, diplomatic and effective manner
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves whenever the need arises
• Available to work Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 6:30pm. Hours may vary (Time change)
