Marketing Student Co-op - Fall 2022
At Irving Consumer Products, we recognize that the key to our success is our people. Irving Consumer Products is a leading manufacturer of premium tissue products - including national brands and private label, consumers know us best by our Royale brand! We also manufacture private label diapers and training pants for North American retailers.
TheMarketing Student Co-op will be based out of Toronto, Ontario (1551 Weston Road, M6M 4Y4) with the opportunity for hybrid flexible work options. This is a temporary student position.
We have an excellent student program at J.D. Irving with formal and informal opportunities to meet and network with people from all across the business, including other students. This is a great experience that will provide you with real, valuable work experience that will allow you to challenge yourself and learn from industry-leading professionals!
Job Requirements
  • Education Required:
    • Enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with an interest in Marketing, or another relevant field
    • Available for a Fall work term and in good academic standing
  • Must have completed at least one prior co-op work term in a Marketing or Business role
  • Process oriented with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated time management, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while delivering on-target results
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:
  • Support Brand Manager on brand plan execution and analytics to support Brand programs and share growth, including research, creative review, and digital executions
  • Support packaging changes and associated launch plans with internal and external stakeholder
  • Lead analytics on program executions, competitive tracking and insights
