The Opportunity:
We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Pulp & Paper Division for Mechanical Engineering Co-op Students to join our dynamic team at one of our Mill locations in Saint John or St George, New Brunswick.
As a valued member of the team, you will get the opportunity to work actively, gaining experience and training firsthand.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Small mechanical repair/improvement projects
  • Failure Analysis Reports
  • Project Proposals
  • Preventive Maintenance Improvement Initiatives
  • Job Sponsoring for small Maintenance jobs
  • Project Justifications

Y ou Have:
  • Education Required: Mechanical Engineering Students available for co-op work term and in good academic standing.
  • Ability to work in a team environment involving engineering consultants, equipment suppliers, unionized contractors, and mill personnel to ensure projects are completed in a cost effective, timely, safe, and quality manner.
  • Ability to work safely both in the office and on mill construction sites.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities
  • Very good communication and organizational skills
  • High energy level with thorough attention to details
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Physically capable of climbing ladders and staging
