Key Account Manager
Remote Home Office Quebec

TheKey Account Manager will be remotely based and is responsible for the creation and implementation of the Customer Business Plans for an assigned customer(s), as well as the coaching and mentorship of the Quebec Sales Team. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Job Requirements
  • Self-starter, results oriented, acts with a high sense of urgency
  • Strong finance and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English /French, responsive, and a proactive collaborator
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Superior time management skills, ability to multitask, set priorities and plan
  • Post-secondary degree in business administration, commerce, or other related field
  • 5 years of customer management, sales, or account management experience
  • 2-3 years' leadership experience

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:
Leading the Retail Team
  • Sets team objectives and priorities with measurable KPIs in line with overall company direction
  • Assigns and evaluates work
  • Provides training and professional development for the Retail Team
  • Develops and implements strategies to keep the Retail Team motivated and dedicated.

Account Management
  • Support development of a strategic account plan (SAP) for assigned customers
  • Engage and collaborate with Sales Directors and CSD to develop and execute plans
  • Develops and manages customer P&Ls to achieve volume and GP goals
  • Identify and implement revenue growth management improvement opportunities
  • Identifies & communicates Quebec market specific changes that impact our business
  • Support the agency for the translation of sales & marketing presentations
Customer Development
  • Develops sustainable partnerships across the customer's organization
  • Identifies, solicits, and develops new customer and business relationships
  • Proactively identifies growth opportunities and business optimization initiatives to deliver topline and bottom-line results to the customer and Irving
  • Successfully presents plans and negotiates terms to achieve desired results
