Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition for Canada, this role will have people leadership, internal client relationship management and also manage key senior recruitment needs for Quebec City and Ottawa (National Capital Region) business units.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Understand the business units' workforce planning, by volume, skill and by quarter to support business aspirations. Act as an advisor, informing and influencing the business with market information and competitor analysis;
• Ensure a positive candidate-experience throughout the process and act as CGI ambassador;
• Understand the company's value proposition and strategy, distinguish among opinions, activity and results measure;
• Support the Talent Acquisition Director in the management of vendor contracts at the Canadian level and project manage initiatives relation to talent acquisition;
• Research and implement innovative strategies and tools to help identify and attract world class talent and drive continuous process improvements;
• Develop and provide business unit leaders with analysis of recruitment activities in such areas as recruiting effectiveness, recruiting costs, and quality of hire metrics;
• Help build brand awareness to promote CGI as an employer of choice, including effective sourcing and branding strategies;
• Manage teams of Recruiters responsible for delivery of all Recruitment Services to a Business unit and/or multiple Business Units, to meet current and future needs;
• Leadership for teams of Recruiters/ Senior Recruiters/ Sourcers that may focus on Experienced Hire Recruitment and/or Executive level recruitment and/or Campus/ Student Recruitment;
• Ensure that offers are processed efficiently with a close attention to detail in line with local legislation while personally handling confidential senior appointments;
• Actively participate in the enhancement of tools, techniques, process & procedures related to recruitment.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Relevant Bachelor or Master Degree or equivalent degree and/or HR related certifications;
• 10 years in recruitment, with an addition 5 years as a people manager;
• Need to be fluent in verbal/written communication in French and English.
