Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director of Quality and Innovation will be responsible for driving exceptional organizational performance through innovation, people, processes, and systems. As a dynamic leader, they will provide guidance and support to our talented executive team. This leader will have the ability to influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure CSNS provides optimal value and delivery of services to its members.

The Director will be responsible for taking leadership and ownership of the corporate reporting processes, as well as reporting on member engagement and member performance and improvement results. The Director will also be accountable for driving alignment of operational efficiencies and getting results through innovative practices, identifying, and implementing opportunities for improvement while cultivating a culture of high performance, innovation, and accountability.

A key member of the leadership team, the Director of Quality and Innovation will lead and manage CSNS' ISO Program corporately, as well as lead the creation of and effectively communicate the strategy for organizational excellence to all relevant internal & external stakeholders. Working closely with the executive team, the Director of Quality and Innovation will work collaboratively to create future vision, strategy, and action planning in order to bring a strategic plan forward for the organization.

The successful candidate has a post-secondary degree in Business, Sciences, Engineering, or related field, combined with progressive experience and knowledge with ISO and quality management systems. A PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma certification will be considered an asset. Along with industry, safety, and construction knowledge, the successful candidate also has proven success leading and managing projects, a deep understanding and experience creating and working within budgets, financial reporting, and analysis. More than an excellent professional, the Director is curious, driven to contribute to the organization strategically, live its mission, and commit to achieving results that build member value. In addition, they are an exceptional communicator, have a high comfort level and ability to learn various technology systems, a relationship builder and organization ambassador.
