JOB SUMMARY:
The Clinical Coordinator must provide quality service to inpatients and outpatients of all ages based on the needs identified. The incumbent will work in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and participate in promoting the profession and training social work students.
The Clinical Coordinator ensures the delivery services in accordance with the social work standards of practice. The social worker participates in the planning and delivery of departmental programs or activities, which may include quality and performance management activities, compilation of statistics, training and orientation of interns or other health professionals, and research. The successful candidate will also perform clinical work in accordance with professional standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Member in good standing of the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers and meets the requirements of the Canadian Association of Social Workers;
  • Bachelor of Social Work granted by a recognized school of social work;
  • Written and spoken competence in French and English in accordance with the existing language policy;
  • Keen sense of responsibility and strong ability to work independently;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and client-focused, friendly and easy to approach;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong planning, organizational, prioritization, and time management skills;
  • Demonstrated personal qualities of leadership, sound judgment, initiative and creativity, ability to adapt to change, communication skills, and positive attitude;
  • Adaptability;
  • Good attendance profile;
  • Good work history and favourable performance appraisals;
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
  • Compliance with Vitalité Health Network's confidentiality rules.

Written and spoken competence in French and English are required.
