Under the supervision of the Regional Director of Organizational Research and Training and the Assistant Regional Director of Organizational Research, the evaluation consultant supports the evaluation activities related to the clinical learning units or any other evaluation initiative of the Network by working with the Leadership Team, directors and other health professionals. This individual helps develop evaluation plans, logical models, data collection tools, evaluation reports and recommendations. They are able to analyze statistical data and evaluation results. They may also manage initiatives and projects. They work to establish processes and policies for the sector. Moreover, this person works with management, as needed, to create major initiatives related to organizational research.
  • Master of Science in nursing, health sciences, public health or a related discipline;
  • Certification in evaluation (programs, projects or services) from a recognized institution (completed or completion planned within the next two years);
  • Project management certification considered an asset;
  • At least five years' experience in evaluative research or health evaluation (interventions, programs, impacts and outcomes);
  • Experience in preparation and analysis of progress reports and project management considered an asset;
  • Experience in the field of organizational research within a university setting, research facility or hospital setting considered an asset;
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills;
  • Scientific rigour;
  • Understanding of the scientific method and research;
  • Ability to process and analyze data;
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
  • Tact and discretion;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

  • Exceptional communication skills in French (oral and written) and good knowledge of English;

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.
