The opportunity: Full time permanent opportunity for a warehouse worker with forklift experience. M ust be fully available to work nights Monday-Friday from 4:30pm - 2 :00 am. (NOTE: 3 weeks training required on day shift prior to start).

  • At least one year of experience operating a powered forklift. Up to date certification is an asset but not required.
  • Valid driver's licen s e considered a n asset as not on direct bus route
  • Able to commit to safety rules and protocols and always work safely and responsibly
  • Able to perform physical labour jobs, including standing/walking for extended periods , performing repetitive tasks, and lifting materials up to 50 lbs. for up to eight hours at a time
  • Must have steel toe boots and a mask
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow verbal or written directions, a high sense of urgency, and a team player attitude
  • Able to follow instructions and take initiative to get the job done on time
  • Fully available Monday - Friday 4:30pm - 2:00 am with a history of perfect attendance

  • Plant Cleanup
  • Loading of t railers
  • Assist nightshift forklift operator for mandrel changes and paper delivery when needed
  • Dump all in house garbage and recycle bins into the appropriate containers for removal
  • Load trailers according to plant copy/load sheets
  • Complete all documentation for loads loaded by nightshift crew
  • Communicate with head shipper for proper continuity between shifts
  • Immediately identify to team manager and discrepancies pertaining to each load for correction and analysis
  • Complete forklift pre-inspection documentation
  • Inform team manager if tools are required or if equipment needs repair
  • Assist in the training of new employees
  • Assist Co-Workers
  • Minimize Waste
