Bayside Nissan is the newest addition to the Bayside Auto Group. Beginning in 1973 with the acquisition of a Chrysler franchise, Bayside has grown to a total of 6 dealerships representing 5 brands: FCA, Kia, Mazda, Hyundai, and Nissan. Bayside Nissan has a dedicated staff of experienced salesmen, Financial Services Manager, licensed technicians, automotive detailer, Parts Manger, and a Service Manager with over 6 years' experience with Nissan Canada. The current facility has adequately serviced the current customer base since opening in 2009, but with eyes to future growth the Bayside Auto Group has committed to building a new state of the art NREDI compliant facility within 24 months.

On behalf of our client, we are searching for a General Manager/Partner to join their team of dedicated professionals. This is an exciting and unique opportunity within the automotive industry as our client is providing the right individual the opportunity to enter into their Partners' Agreement and acquire up to 20% ownership in the dealership. The Partners' Agreement was established over 14 years ago and the four current Partners are writing the story of their own successes. Ownership is earned annually through the bonus program and no upfront capital is required. The successful candidate will be encouraged and supported to succeed by the President while being provided ample autonomy to control the day-to-day operations and implement their own ideas for success.

Reporting to the President of the auto group, the General Manager/Partner will provide direction and leadership to a team of service, sales, and administrative professionals. Ensuring consistent quality and exceptional customer service is a key mandate in this role, while also overseeing all sales, operational and financial aspects of the established full-service operation. As a key member of the management team, you will focus on providing high quality performance in all aspects of this customer focused business.

As the ideal candidate, you are a natural people leader and possess general management skills from your tenure of experience in the automotive industry. With a continuous process improvement mindset, you are well versed in fixed operations and sales excellence through your experience, ideally ten to fifteen years. Known for your ability to establish long lasting personal and professional relationships, you are a visible hands-on coach and mentor. You possess a solid understanding of consumer buying habits and motives and support an environment where your team is encouraged and motivated to perform at their best. You have an eye for both big picture thinking and day to day detail and will participate collaboratively within the business to ensure achievement of objectives, coupled with ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and long-term customer loyalty is achieved. If you are an energetic, ambitious, and innovative professional; this is the role for you. Bilingualism will be considered an asset.
