We are currently seeking a self-motivated, and reliable Die Setter to join our team. The ideal candidate understands the importance of safety, is mechanically inclined, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating the presses, holding, and guiding the material and supervising the machining process making sure the line is running well
- Doing the necessary minor settings and tweaking of machines throughout shift
- Inspecting products constantly to ensure quality and conformity to specifications
- Performing all other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager
Qualifications
- Able to follow oral and written instructions
- Demonstrated ability to follow safe work practices/procedures
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs is required
- Have high amount of manual dexterity
- Be task oriented
- Work well in a team environment and to communicate clearly with others
- Having previous experience as laborer or helper and/or sheet metal experience would be an asset
