Senior Benefits Analyst


We're looking for a dynamic Senior Benefits Analyst to join our Global Benefits International team, primarily supporting the Canadian Benefits. This is a work from home opportunity in the Montreal area.

What you'll be doing:
Looking for an opportunity to help develop essential strategies and programs and serve as an employee advocate in Canada? In this role, you'll support all aspects of the employee benefits & health and wellness for our Canadian locations. You'll be an employee and internal client advocate, providing benefits expertise, education and communications, administration, and vendor management. You'll report into the Sr. Manager of Global Benefits.
On a typical day, you'll:
  • Provide subject matter expertise related to Canadian benefits to internal partners and stakeholder
  • Conduct the administration of Canadian Benefits plan as it relates to employee questions, enrollment, open enrollment, payroll practices, leaves of absence, monthly billing and invoicing, compliance and legislative updates
  • Administer monthly vendor billing, invoicing, reconciliation, auditing and payments
  • Participate in ongoing strategy discussions and renewal negotiations, vendor evaluation and management, requests for proposals, benchmarking activities and recommendations for plan design and best in class benefits
  • Partner with the Global Wellness Team to develop and implement wellness programs specific to our Canadian employees based on plan utilization and employee feedback
  • Manage Canadian PTO policies
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of employee education and communications related to Canadian benefits
  • Manage Oracle HR system- benefits data and enrollments

  • Why You? What you bring:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+years of Benefits experience
  • Fluent in English and French. Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian benefit plans
  • Strong analytic and presentation skills
  • Strong systems skills and advanced Excel and Power Point skills
  • Experience with Oracle HRIS system preferred
