FTE : 1.0

ANTICIPATED START DATE : March 2019

HOURS OF WORK :

8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday

Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Development and be responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of fundraising special events as well as the Annual Campaign of the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation. The successful candidate will also support the Board of Directors of one of the foundations in the ACADIE-BATHURST region.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor's degree in administration or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Previous professional experience in fundraising, including special event planning, would be an asset;
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in both official languages;
  • Leadership skills and ability to work on a team;
  • Ability to work in the Windows environment and use Microsoft Office applications;
  • Knowledge of a database application would be an asset;
  • Good analytical and reasoning skills;
  • Good judgment and initiative;
  • Discretion handling confidential information;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good employment history and attendance;
  • Ability to perform duties without constant supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
  • Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;

Written and spoken competence in English and French is essential.
