Manager, Operations and Compliance
Louisbourg Investments seeks a detail oriented and self-motivated individual to join its dynamic team and play a leading role as Manager, Operations and Compliance.
One of the few investment management firms established in the Atlantic Provinces, Louisbourg Investments serves its institutional and private clients from offices in Moncton and Halifax. Superior investment results and client-focused investment solutions have resulted in the growth of assets under management to over $2 billion.
Reporting to the President and CEO, this person will lead the operations and compliance team in establishing effective supervision and control of the firm's activities including client reporting, portfolio accounting and fund accounting.
The successful candidate should have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, be autonomous in their work and can successfully manage several tasks simultaneously. The individual must enjoy working in a smaller entrepreneurial firm and function best within a highly motivated results-oriented team environment. Bilingualism (English and French) is essential.
The required qualifications include a university degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline. Prior compliance, accounting or investment management experience would be preferable. A professional accounting designation and/or the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation would be considered an asset.
