National Account Manager

Reporting to the Director, Partner Retail Sales, this position will support the account management team to build strong and collaborative relationships with our retail partners and help drive Rogers business objectives.
  • Develop relationships with central based national and regional retailers to support Rogers, Fido and chatr nationally
  • Work with retailers to develop and execute a strategy to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales, share, and performance objectives for wireless with Rogers/Fido/chatr
  • Manage quarterly OPEX budgets for assigned retailers
  • Assist in designing and developing promotions to maximize Rogers/Fido/chatr wireless' market share within assigned accounts
  • Work with regional teams and national training team to provide on-going sales training and coaching at store level
  • Resolve exceptional customer issues and concerns
  • Constantly strive to improve existing relationships with Head Office and Retail Sales staff
  • Work closely with retailer and hardware marketing team to monitor inventory levels and report issues/recommendations to management
  • Coordinate and develop co-op marketing and sales programs
  • Gather competitive information and liaise with Sales and Marketing
  • Provide reports on Rogers/Fido/chatr wireless activity, inventory, issues, and competitive activity within a specific territory
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum 5 years wireless experience with 3-5 years' experience in a sales environment
  • Community College/University education with Business or Marketing preferred
  • Strong training ability coupled with well-developed presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communications, and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong merchandising skills
  • Strong MS Office skill
