WorkSafeNB is seeking applications for permanent and casual administrative support positions, located in some of our provincial offices, which could include Grand Bay, Saint John, Dieppe, Grand Falls and Bathurst.
Reporting to the assigned manager, you will be responsible to perform various office duties, such as communicating verbally and in writing with clients and stakeholders, in potentially challenging situations, as well as helping the team with various administrative tasks. Some of these positions involve acting as a decision maker on complex claims. These are multi-faceted positions that would be ideal for detail-oriented individuals who are self-starters, able to multi-task and have the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
If you possess the following qualifications, we encourage you to apply:
- A high school diploma
- One-year post-secondary diploma/certificate
- One year of relevant work experience such as clerical, cash handling, experience with benefits & wage calculations, paying accounts (accounts receivable/accounts payable) payroll and banking.
- The ability to function within MS Office software, particularly MS Word and Excel
An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competency in French and English is required for some positions, for others, written and spoken competency in English is required.
