The City of Moncton is currently accepting applications for the position Events Staff.
These positions are on a casual basis and report to the Retail and Facility Rental Coordinator at the Resurgo Place. Work may occur at Resurgo Place, the Free Meeting House or the Thomas Williams House. Tasks may include opening/closing the building, setting up for the event, coordinating with the renter and/or caterer, ensuring safety, filling out reports, gathering statistics, doing inventory and other similar duties.
The successful candidate must have the following minimum qualifications:
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Grade 12 or equivalency
- Must be able to communicate in both official languages English and French
- Must enjoy working with the public
- Must possess strong communications skills and understand the importance of positive customer service
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends and on an on-call basis
