In business since 196 0 , we are an open shop, multi-trade, specialty contractor serving Atlantic Canada. Our three main operating divisions include: Construction Management, Electrical Contracting and Communication Cabling.
  • Providing on-site supervision and direction for workers to ensure safe and efficient execution of work;
  • Make concerted effort to meet time and budget requirements established by the employer and customer in order to complete jobs within specific guidelines;
  • Organizing and planning all electrical aspects of a project; some estimating will be required
  • Coordinating, scheduling and assigning activities to workers to ensure proper resource allocation and tools at each job site;
  • Participation in working of additional overtime /afterhours work is a mandatory function;
  • When required, purchasing and managing materials/equipment to ensure crews are properly supplied;
  • Ensure the electrical work being performed is installed as described on drawings and meets specifications and standards;
  • Provide leadership and training opportunities to both apprentices and other employees and evaluate, provide feedback on progress;
  • Reporting to upper management with regards to project status as it relates to schedule, problem areas, percent completion and site conditions and any safety violations;
  • Work alongside employees and fill in when required;
  • Familiar with all Company safety policies and QA/QC procedures and regulations
  • Enforce and complies to the highest level of safety during all stages of project execution to avoid any type of incidents and or accidents;
  • Attending and/or conducting tool box talks and executing incident reports;
  • Ensure field paperwork is submitted on time and completed accurately;
  • Develop onsite working relationships with general contractor and other sub-contractors and manage customer relations;

  • Red seal journeyman electrician trade certificate
  • Past experience with managing crews and customer relations
  • Physically fit and able to learn at a fast pace
  • Past experience on both industrial and commercial sectors
  • Knowledge of basic computer and drafting programs
