Senior Sales Executive

Innovatia is a leader in next generation knowledge management solutions that creates and delivers flexible knowledge services through a comprehensive suite of products, including eLearning, Technical Documentation, and Technical Support Solutions. We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive who has a proven track record in selling professional services and/or software into Oil & Gas companies, an entrepreneurial spirit, and relevant industry experience. We have the support system for this role, we are looking for a hunter with existing contacts in the industry.

This position can be based either in Atlantic Canada or the US North-Eastern Seaboard.

Responsibilities

  • Penetrate markets relevant to our product and services offerings, attain new clients, grow key accounts, and build long-term relationships with our clients
  • Constant focus on identifying new opportunities for customers by developing solutions that deliver real value for the customers' organizations
  • Consistently uses sales processes, i.e. opportunity analysis, creating demand and winning sales plans to drive growth
  • Develop and implement successful strategies that influence customer stakeholders to support partnerships at executive levels
  • Ability to effectively articulate and present Procedure Accelerator capabilities to align and resolve client objectives and challenges
  • Responsible for account planning, relationship development, revenue targets, client satisfaction
  • Responsible to maintain and develop relationships within key accounts. Multiple strong connections with c-level, Vice President and Director level decision makers
  • Responsible for contracting, negotiating Terms and Conditions and working relationship definition for multimillion dollar, multiyear agreements

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years face to face industry specific selling and relevant business experience in the oil and gas market
  • Experience selling into the Health & Safety or Operational Excellence areas of Oil & Gas companies considered an asset
  • Sales experience to include a background of professional services and product sales
