Youth Development Facilitator
Hours: Part Time (0-30 hours/week)
Salary: $12.35/hour (bilingual incentive available)
The New Brunswick Military Family Resource Centre is a not-for-profit organization that provides families of the military community with a diverse range of programs, services and special events.
The Youth Development Facilitator will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of MFRC Youth Development programs. Duties include implementing and facilitating programs intended for all areas of youth programming; preteen (9-13 years) and teen (13-18 years) and Youth Centre supervision. The Youth Development Facilitator will also be expected to establish a good rapport with youth participants, parents and volunteers. Applicants should also be willing to assist with other areas of the Child and Youth Development Program: 5-9 Children's Program and Preschool Program (parents/guardians always in attendance with preschool children.)
Applicants must be available to work afternoons (typically in the range of 1pm-5:30 pm and/or evenings (typically in the range of 4pm-8pm) and occasional Saturdays. Please state your availability when applying.
- Bilingualism preferred
- Experience in program development
- Experience working with children and youth in mixed age groupings
- Must be caring, creative, enthusiastic, spontaneous, motivated and professional.
Candidate must be able to work flexible hours (must be available afternoons and/or evenings, and occasional Saturdays.) This position would be suitable for a high school/university student if your availability matches our need (ie. high school students with evening availability )
