Chief Executive Officer
With the upcoming retirement of the incumbent CEO in 2020, the Financial and Consumer Services Commission of New Brunswick (FCNB) is looking for an individual to lead its team of dedicated professionals, as part of an integrated financial and consumer services regulator that is responsible for regulating 34,000 industry participants (individuals and industries) who handle over $30 billion of New Brunswick consumers' money.
Based in Saint John, N.B., the successful candidate will lead FCNB in fulfilling its mandate of protecting consumers and enhancing public confidence in the financial and consumer marketplaces. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for implementing strategic plans, overseeing all of the Commission's operations, and ensuring the efficient delivery of high quality regulatory services through cost-effective management of resources.
Preference will be given to candidates who are proficient in both official languages and who have experience in a business environment that operates in both official languages.
