What you can expect in a typical day:
As a Business Account Representative III, you will assist the manager in the accounting of Terminal liquid product within a specific geographical region. This position is part of our Inventory Accounting team which has responsibility for timely and accurate billing and accounting of all inventory movements from purchase to production and sale. You will accurately report inventory movements within the U.S. while meeting strict, daily deadlines to meet our expected levels of customer service. You will also work collaboratively with the team to help with demand forecasting, hedging, and corporate front and back office to ensure all inventory is recorded and reported correctly. 
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Prepare daily reconciliations of all inventory movements for area of responsibility; proactively follow-up on any discrepancies.
  • Input data into system for standard billing and inventory tracking.
  • Ensure customer issues and inquiries are addressed timely; this may involve working with other teams.
  • Process supplier invoices in a timely manner through collaboration with other teams.
  • Provide information and items as required through exporting, importing, and manipulating data.
  • Ensure new processes and procedures are implemented effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide information to multiple internal and external customers in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity.

  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, including Excel would be a requirement.

  • Travel is not a requirement for this position.

Education and experience
  • Post-secondary accounting education or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an office environment or University degree with minimal experience.
  • Previous experience with accounting and inventory is an asset
