Replenishment Representative (one year term)

With commercial/retail locations in Halifax, Stellarton, St. John's, and Moncton, Big Erics is Atlantic Canada's leading distributor of supplies, equipment and industrial chemicals for the food service, janitorial, sanitation, Confectionary and manufacturing sectors. Our experienced team is committed to providing quality products, value-added services and the latest innovations to support our customers' success. We are currently recruiting for a Replenishment Representative to join our team of dedicated professionals. Although this is now a temporary position, the possibility exists that it could be extended or made permanent.

The Replenishment Representative will be responsible to work closely with the Purchasing & Sales Teams to ensure accuracy and timeliness in the process of planning and purchasing merchandise. This role connects very closely will many other departments, particularly the Warehouse, Customer Service, Sales and Finance. Strong communication skills and ability to quickly build positive relationships is essential in this role.

As the ideal candidate, you have a bachelor's degree or Certificate / Courses in Supply Chain or Purchasing Management plus a minimum of 3-5+ years of previous buying experience in a high volume, fast paced distribution system with multiple warehouses. Experience working with diverse groups of individuals is required, and confidence in decision making is a must. You possess demonstrated ability to work with a team toward a common goal of providing an exceptional customer experience. Proficiency in Microsoft office with an emphasis on Excel is required. Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
