What You'll Be Doing
CIBC's Identity and Access Operations team ensures secure administration and operation of technologies, risk mitigation to the appropriate level while working towards a shared vision, enhancing CIBC's security posture. As a Senior Information Security Consultant, you'll provide subject matter expertise in the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain related to tools, best practices & general support to all five Identity and Access Operations (IAO) teams. This role emphasizes on process, audit, reporting, risk and information security management, technology & operations throughout the organization.
How You'll Succeed
  • Identity & Access Management Expertise - As a SME, drive technical remediation of IAM deficiencies. Review Identity and Access reports for quality assurance, trend analysis, and lead actions for operational improvement. Provide oversight & quality assurance of procedural and documentation updates.
  • Process Improvement - Streamline, standardize and create processes, implement and customize Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions based on client needs.
  • Consulting - Recommend best practices, provide specialized support for challenged areas including coaching and mentoring team members. Drive operational improvement across various different groups within IAM and present results back to senior management. Utilize your exceptional leadership skills to handle operational execution of several IAO processes, activities, projects & deficiencies.

Who You Are
  • You can demonstrate experience in Information Security (ideally 5 years), specifically Identity and Access Management, while driving client focus, simplification, and innovation. You have prior experience managing identity and access initiatives / deficiencies / activities. Your thorough understanding of key controls, risk frameworks, and information security management helps drive effective process management & continuous improvement. It's an asset if you have experience with IAM or user behaviour analytics tools. CISSP/CISM certifications preferred.
