Systems Analyst II

Position Summary
The Senior Systems Analyst - Workplace Services (WPS) is responsible for providing technical leadership, strategic guidance and senior level support for the end-user computing environment within McCain Foods globally. This role will design modern desktop solutions by leveraging the Windows servicing model, SCCM and Intune as well as provide leadership and technical expertise for computing hardware and managed print services. The Senior Systems Analyst will participate in enhancement projects and service delivery engagements with 3rd party companies by acting as a technical expert. Advise the business and IT leaders on industry trends and product capabilities to drive adoption and productivity benefits within the Workplace Services area. They will ensure the ITSM tools are meeting the needs of the business & IT Department and represent a key technical escalation point within McCain for IT workplace related services
Key Accountabilities

  • Evaluate, develop and implement enterprise-wide modern workplace solutions based on the Windows servicing model and related Microsoft technologies
  • Provide technical leadership for regional support teams and 3rd party support groups on WPS technologies.
  • Be the product owner for McCain ITSM system including setup and governance as well as facilitating system adoption and operational reporting.
  • Act as the overall Product Owner for the modern workplace (including enterprise print services) and function as the highest technical escalation point within McCain.
  • Interface with key WPS vendors to understand their product roadmaps and provide applicability and technical interpretation on how these technologies and industry trends can benefit McCain
  • Produce powerful analytical reporting packages that facilitate and accelerate decision making and sustainable cost savings.

  • Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a technical program for IT infrastructure management (Computer Science is preferred) with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of end user computing hardware and modern workplace technologies including:
  • In-depth experience deploying & managing Windows 10 in an enterprise with tools such as SCCM, Intune, GPO, Azure Active Directory, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (EMS, ProPlus, Teams, etc.)
  • Modern printing technologies & managed printing services
  • Desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones and wireless scanning devices for commercial and industrial environments
  • ITSM Software
  • Knowledge of analysis and reporting tools and the ability to build reports to drive decision making for operational improvements
  • Strong knowledge of best practice operations within an Enterprise ITIL environment
  • Willingness to attain or already holding Microsoft certifications would be considered an asset
