Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will be a key asset in the future growth of the company. This individual will be part of the Financial Planning & Analysis Team, working on the Company's monthly forecast, annual budgeting process, and special projects. This function acts as the analytical engine of the Finance team to provide insights and support 'optimal' business decision making. This individual would consider themselves both an accountant and a "data scientist".
Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of the business with a focus on customer relationships;
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance;
  • Assist with the continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools;
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis;
  • Monthly Forecasting reports;
  • Work with a Business Intelligence Tool; Alteryx, for modeling and create dashboard reports;
  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives, marketing programs, new stores as well as new projects;
  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes;
  • Supporting Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis;
  • Act as administrative support for Corporate Performance Management (CPM) Tool, including report and dashboard design, user security and user support.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters of Business Administration is highly preferred;
  • 3+ years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis;
  • Experience in telecommunications preferred;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Experience with predictive analysis software a must with Alteryx skills desirable;
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized;
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated;
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity.
