The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking two (2) individuals to join the Information Management and Technology Branch as Records Services Officers working in Fredericton.

As members of the Records Management Unit, the successful candidates will be responsible for information lifecycle management which comprises of services, processes, practices, policies and tools used to align the business value of information from its creation through the final disposition of the information holdings. The successful candidates will be responsible to provide subject matter expertise in assisting staff in various branches and to follow established policies, practices and procedures; provide quality customer service to internal clients; support and promote the departmental Records and Information Management (RIM) Program and serve as administrators for the HPRM records management software program. These positions also require the person to lift, move and organize boxes and files on shelves.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or GED, supplemented by graduation from a one (1) year post-secondary program in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of related work experience including one (1) year of records management experience OR graduation from high school or GED and a minimum of four (4) years of related work experience including one (1) year of records management experience. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is also required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate one or more of the following asset qualifications: certification or coursework in Records Management and/or experience working with HPRM and/or other records management software programs. Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.

SALARY: $1,436.00 to $1,741.00 bi-weekly, based on a 36 ¼ hour work week.
