What You'll Be Doing
Risk Management maintain san effective control environment and oversees the sound risk management of our bank, consistent with our Risk Appetite Statement . As a Manager, Oversight Process and Quality Management in Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (EAML), you'll be responsible for the management, maintenance, and administration of CIBC's global AML Testing Program, including any assigned deficiencies. You will support the Director, Oversight-Testing to develop, plan and implement the annual Examination Schedule. In addition, you will be responsible to maintain the Examination Methodology, and maintain an effective and current inventory of Examination Testing Tools and Templates. You would also be responsible for conducting quality assurance on examinations; including relevant training and prepare reporting for the Senior Director, EAML Oversight and CAMLO.
How You'll Succeed
AML Process & Procedures - You will develop and maintain processes and procedures to facilitate the delivery of the Enterprise AML Testing Program including Processes, Manuals and Testing Artifact Templates, etc.
Planning & Deficiency Monitoring - You will support the Director, Process and Quality Management in the annual and quarterly examination planning and scope efforts. You will monitor Deficiency action plans due dates and following up with Action Plan Owners on all Deficiency dates to ensure timelines are met, approvals are obtained, and action plans are closed on time. Reviewing artifacts to ensure action plans have been sufficiently addressed.
Reporting & Quality Assurance Testing - You will develop reporting related to deficiencies, examinations, change management and other processes as required. You will conduct quality assurance testing of examination working papers, reports and artifacts to ensure adherence to the Examination Methodology.

You can Demonstrate experience in Canadian AML/ATF laws and regulations, minimum of 3 years experience in a second or third line of defense capacity, and a minimum of 3 years' experience in developing procedures and reporting and deficiency management. It is an asset if you have and a working knowledge of AML/ATF laws and regulations of jurisdictions in which CIBC entities.
