What You'll Be Doing
Engage with several business clients every day to meet their immediate and future needs, offer advice, handle objections and complete sales - advising clients on their business and personal financial needs. Proactively contact clients by phone to identify potential client needs, and schedule appointments to further discuss clients' opportunities. You will seek to understand and advise clients based on a comprehensive financial planning approach including cash management, credit, investment and wealth protection.

  • Client Engagement - Meet with clients to understand their priorities, advise them on solutions, and provide a forward-looking financial plan. Use your knowledge of technology, cash management, credit, investment and wealth protection to help clients meet their goals.
  • Relationship Building - Engage in marketing and outreach activities to show clients you value them and their communities. Grow your network, deepen existing relationships, and collaborate with others to ensure clients are connected to the right people and opportunities.
  • Community Involvement - Heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities. Grow your network to create lasting connections that will generate future small business opportunities.

  • You're a certified professional. You have current accreditation and good standing Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada) and a strong background in accounting and finance.

You have w ell-developed consultancy, advisory and influencing skills sufficient to support advisors achieve strategic, business and financial plans in a manner consistent with CIBC's values, strategies, core policies and programs.

  • You need to be legally eligible to work in Canada at the location(s) specified above and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit
  • This is a regular full time role with a schedule of 37.5 hours each week. Your hours will be based on our banking centre operations, and you may need to work days, evenings and weekends
