Sr. Analyst BI & Analytics
Subscriber reporting and analytics are critical for understanding customer behaviour to drive growth and decision making. At Rogers our reports/analytics are one of the key indicators to measure success at Canada's largest telecommunication company.
We're looking for a Sr. Analyst BI & Analytics to provide outstanding delivery for all Wireless and Cable Subscriber Reporting initiatives.
? Work closely with IT and our Business partners to develop subscriber data/reporting solutions and testing strategies that ensure integrity/accuracy in the data sources.
? Establish yourself as a credible subscriber reporting subject matter expert.
? Ensure successful completion of Cable and Wireless subscriber reporting projects, including timely delivery of committed functionality, appropriate controls and data integrity.
? Project Participation - ensure completeness, accuracy, consistency and quality of all documents required for each project phase; Review and signoff on all project. documents and ascertain that proper approvals from stakeholders are obtained.
? Collaborate with IT and our business partners to resolve and close all production tickets in a timely fashion, including participation in the assessment of data impacts and system impacts.
? Pull and analyze large data sets and provide business insights/recommendations based on the output.
? An individual who is focused on delivering results with integrity.
? Proven ability to initiate change when opportunities to improve are identified i.e. the successful candidate must be innovative to find opportunities and confident/comfortable to make opinions known and support their recommendation.
? Demonstrated ability to provide recommendations and solutions rather than reporting problems.
? Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and the ability to remain organized and focused in a very fast paced environment where multiple and changing priorities are the norm.
? A motivated team player who has previously demonstrated the ability to proactively initiate plans and begin appropriate courses of action rather than waiting for direction.
? 5 years of analytical and problem solving experience with attention to detail.
? SAS or SQL experience required, certification preferred.
? Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
?
