What You'll Be Doing

You'll play a key role on a team that goes above and beyond for their clients. As an Associate Investment Advisor, you'll build and maintain a portfolio of high net worth clients at CIBC Wood Gundy. You'll offer dedicated relationship management and tailored advice to support your clients as they work toward their financial goals.
How You'll Succeed
  • Client Engagement - Focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful. Enhance relationships by delivering trusted investment advice and providing comprehensive financial planning support. Proactively establish new client relationships through networking and continue to cultivate existing client relationships by understanding your clients' financial objectives.
  • Business Development - Use your strong relationship building and networking skills to build connections, generate opportunities, and deliver bottom line results. Build and maintain investment plans based on the client's profile and risk/reward tolerance. Leverage CIBC's wide range of investment solutions to provide a needs-based approach that will result in satisfied, loyal clients and increased referrals.
  • Relationship Building - Heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities. Grow your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities.

  • You need to be legally eligible to work in Canada at the location(s) specified above and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit
  • This is a regular full time role with a schedule of 37.5 hours each week. Your hours will be based on Wood Gundy operations, and you may need to work days, evenings and weekends
