Health Sciences Manager

Our client, Oulton College, based in Moncton, is seeking applicants for the position of Health Science Manager.

The Health Sciences Manager reports to the Director of Health Sciences and will be responsible for overseeing a group of programs. They are accountable for the implementation, coordination and delivery of all programs under their purview. The Health Sciences Manager is expected to drive the activity of programs by ensuring instructors fulfill their responsibilities. He or she oversees instruction, facilitation and assessment, supporting student success. They are responsible to ensure that programs meet or exceed budgeted goals and is the point of contact for effective communication between senior management and instructors. They ensure that programs meet regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

University Degree in necessary. Health Sciences or Education preferred

Previous experience in management and leadership is key

Experience in program accreditation and quality assurance programs

Strong knowledge of legislative requirements for regulated health professions

Experience in performance management and customer service

Strong ability to resolve conflicts and bring forth solutions

Proven ability to coach and lead teams to achieve results.

Excellent leadership skills; Critical Thinking Skills

Results Driven

Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment

Problem Solving and dispute resolution skills

Interest in post-secondary education; Have an interest in lifelong learning

Sales & Promotion Skills; Strong Networking skills and ability to build relationships with stake holders

Be highly organized, work well under pressure, and able to multi task

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicates effectively with the students & staff

Ability to coordinate activities and time management skills are essential

Bilingualism is an asset

Responsibilities:

Overall coordination within programs

Plan, delegate and work on accreditation and provide regular progress

Maintain strong contacts in the field and community

Work with Admissions and Marketing to support enrollment activities

Coach and lead teams to achieve results.

Lead and schedule work routines and motivate a team of professional team members.
