ROYAL GAZETTE COORDINATOR
(PAY BAND 2)
The Office of the Attorney General is seeking an individual to join the Legislative Services Branch as the Royal Gazette Coordinator working in Fredericton.
As a member of the Legislative Publishing Team, the successful candidate will be required to coordinate, produce, proofread and publish The Royal Gazette, a weekly bilingual publication of legal notices and regulations. The position requires a motivated individual with excellent organizational skills and a strong attention to details. The successful candidate must have strong communication skills and have the ability to work independently with a variety of computer programs and learn complex software.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: A university degree in a related field and a minimum of two (2) years of related work experience, including experience using Microsoft Word, laying out multiple page documents using design software (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Framemaker, or QuarkXpress), editing images in Photoshop and proofreading OR a two (2) year post-secondary education in a related field and a minimum of four (4) years of related work experience, including experience using Microsoft Word, laying out multiple page documents using design software (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Framemaker, or QuarkXpress), editing images in Photoshop and proofreading. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate experience in one or more of the following asset qualifications: experience using Adobe Framemaker; experience working with confidential and/or legal documents.
Subject to the response of this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.
BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES: The successful candidates will possess the following behavioural competencies: Client Service Orientation, Concern for Order, Effective Interactive Communication, Flexibility and Self-confidence.

SALARY: from $ 1,545 to $2,157 bi-weekly, depending on education and experience.
