Vice President, Corporate Services

Horizon Health Network leads the way in bringing innovation and efficiencies to deliver sustainable, affordable, safe, and quality health-care services to residents of New Brunswick, northern Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. One of the largest employers in New Brunswick, Horizon Health has five locations across New Brunswick, operates 12 hospitals and more than 100 medical facilities, clinics and offices, and has an operating budget of approximately $1.1 billion. Horizon Health's Vice-President, Corporate Services is responsible for strategic leadership, direction and oversight of financial services, human resources, facilities management, capital construction, information technology and support services such as food services, portering and environmental services. A member of the senior leadership team reporting to the President and CEO and working in partnership with the other Vice-Presidents, the Vice-President, Corporate Services supports Horizon Health's mission and strategic direction by leading the organization's strategic, human resources, financial and facilities master planning; directing, planning and stewarding the administrative and corporate services functions for Horizon Health; overseeing the operating and capital budgets; and safeguarding and optimizing return on the organization's over $360million in assets, financial and human resources, and more than $1.1billion in operating and other revenues and expenditures annually.

As the ideal candidate, you are an experienced strategic leader, with strong financial, IT, legal, and human resource management experience. You possess a Master's level degree, and a professional designation relevant to the corporate services portfolio. Your proven ability to align programs and policies with organizational objectives has led to the long-term success of your organization, and you have played a leadership role in transformational or ambitious organizational change. You are a trusted coach, mentor and advisor, easily able to build strong relationships and partnerships. Experienced navigating in complex organizations, you are comfortable leading in a unionized context and are adept at working collaboratively within a large team. Bilingualism will be considered an asset.
