The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is seeking an individual to join the Moncton District as a Bridge Supervisor working in Moncton.

As a member of the Moncton District, the successful candidate will be responsible to direct groups of workers engaged in the maintenance and repairs of bridges, buildings, and participation in these tasks, as well as in the inspection for purposes of preventative maintenance all to departmental standards, budget guidelines and environmental safety regulations, along with maintaining all daily records and reports and performing other work as required. The successful applicant will also be supervising personnel who are responsible for overseeing repairs and bridge maintenance.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or GED with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in the maintenance of bridges including a minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is also required as well as possession of a valid New Brunswick Class 5 driver's license.

Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.

The following operational requirements are also required: working on weekends and variable hours.

SALARY: $24.22 per hour.
