Service New Brunswick is seeking an individual to join the Translation Bureau as an Application Support Officer in Fredericton.

As a member of the Translation Bureau team, you will be responsible for participating in activities designed to support quality service delivery to clients, employees and suppliers of the Translation Bureau. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • developing knowledge and expertise about the Translation Bureau applications and the language industry
  • troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • providing training to staff when new applications are deployed or new versions of applications are released
  • setting up new accounts for various Bureau applications
  • supporting department end users, internal staff and freelance translators

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma supplemented by a one-year related post-secondary diploma and a minimum of three (3) years related experience, which must include at least one (1) year of experience in customer service. Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered, or the required years of experience may be increased.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows (7 and 10), Office 2010, Office 365
  • Experience with remote troubleshooting

Salary : $40,170 à $56,082 annually - Pay Band 2 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan
