Open (Term and Permanent Positions)
The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development are seeking individuals to join the Accountability and Quality Assurance branch as Project Managers working in the Fredericton Office.
The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the planning, execution and finalization of projects according to agreed parameters. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining project scope, goals, requirements and deliverables; delivering project objectives and overseeing quality control; directing and managing project development; developing full-scale project plans and effectively setting, communicating and managing project expectations; liaising with project stakeholders and planning, scheduling and tracking project timelines, milestones and deliverables; developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations; delivering status reports, analyzing results and troubleshooting problem areas; supporting change management initiatives in concert with the Change Management specialist, and monitoring and managing risks, issues and interdependencies between projects in a program.
PB4: University degree in Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of 4 years of related work experience, including two years of project management related experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
PB5: University degree in Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in project management. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
PB6: University degree in Business Administration or a related field and a minimum of 6 years of related progressively responsible work experience in project management. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates that demonstrate certification in Project Management, either PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince2 methodology. Experience in Change Management Methodology (PROSCI) also considered an asset.
Subject to the response to this competition, candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications in addition to the essential qualifications in order to be given further consideration.
The following operational requirement(s) is also required: May require some travel. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license.

Pay Band 4: $48, 178 - $67, 366 per annum
Pay Band 5: $55, 120 - $77, 012 per annum
Pay Band 6: $64, 038 - $85, 228 per annum
