The Department of Health is seeking an individual to join the Health Workforce Planning Branch as a Health Human Resources Advisor in Fredericton.

Reporting to the Director of Health Workforce Planning, the successful candidate will manage the New Brunswick Clinical Education Program for rehab and pharmacy by coordinating clinical placements on behalf of students enrolled in several Canadian universities, within the Regional Health Authorities. He or she will provide professional services, advice and assistance in the development, coordination, promotion and implementation of Health Human Resources programs. The position will also provide support in planning and coordinating the annual visits to various universities, maintaining contact lists, including a provincial Student Registry. Other duties will include liaising with students, participating in the administration of various recruitment strategies; preparing briefing notes, statistical information and reports. The successful candidate will also be involved in database management and maintaining the related web sites.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in business, arts, education, science, or health administration and a minimum of two (2) years of related experience; or a two (2) year college diploma in business, health or a related field and a minimum of four (4) years of related experience.

Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability on your application.

The following operational requirement(s) is also required: travel both within and outside the province as well as possession of a valid driver's license is required.

Salary: $40,170 to $56,082 per annum
