WorkSafeNB is seeking applications for a casual support clerk position, located in Dieppe, New Brunswick.The support clerk will be responsible to perform various duties, such as reviewing and authorizing payment of medical aid accounts; completing annual reviews; reviewing and calculating benefit entitlements, retroactive calculations, annuity provisions, cost-transfers, and any other benefits provisions; paying accounts; updating electronic filing systems; assisting the case management team in arranging expedited services for clients; gathering relevant documentation and reports; and communicating verbally and in writing with clients and stakeholders.

This is a challenging multi-faceted position that would be ideal for detail-oriented individuals who are self-starters, have the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, and have the ability to handle large volumes of work, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • A high school diploma and a one-year post-secondary diploma / certificate, as a minimal educational requirement
  • One year of relevant work experience in areas such as payroll, accounting, finance, claims management, or other relevant work experience
  • The ability to function within MS Office software, particularly MS Word

An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.

Written and spoken competency in English and French are required.
