12 Month Contract
The New Brunswick Legal Aid Services Commission is seeking an individual for a 12 month contract to provide support to the Manager of Trust and Guardianship and the Public Trustee (PT) Services branch. The Trust Technician is responsible for financial and administrative duties for all Public Trustee clients. The Trust Technician is also responsible for audit related and other financial tasks assigned by the Manager of Trust and Guardianship.
The successful candidate must be detail oriented and able to deal with large volumes of processing on a timely basis. The successful candidate must be able to identify and escalate issues and take responsibility for accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Responsibilities include approval of Accounts Payable invoices, issuing correspondence, updating and maintaining various spreadsheets, preparation of client's personal income tax returns, ongoing tasks related to audit schedules, assistance with special projects, administrative support and related duties as assigned by the Manager of Trust and Guardianship.
- Completion of a post-secondary program in a related discipline;
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Experience with data-entry;
- Written and spoken competence in English.
- Two years related work experience (administrative and accounting and/or financial transaction processing);
- Written and spoken competence in French.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Salary and benefits will be commensurate with skill level and experience: $1,425 to $1,728 biweekly (NBLASC Administrative Series I).
